The property is lovely, but the experience suffered. I spent two nights in NYC. Here were the problems: (1) On the first night, a Bose radio went off prior to sunrise. I couldn't turn it off without moving furniture and unplugging it. And then trying to get back to sleep. (2) I was unable to control the thermostat so the room was much warmer than I wanted. I asked the staff to turn it down while I was out and they turned it down to 60 degrees. (3) Finally, when I left, I asked for my car to be pulled around. I gave them the requested 20 minutes notice, but waited 20 additional minutes for the car to come around due to an error at the desk. I know these are first world problems (believe me, I know), but you're paying the St. Regis to eliminate these errors, not to make them. I doubt I'll return.
