hotel was very dated, room was VERY SMALL. we had 3 people in a 2 double bed room, we couldnt all be standing/walking around at the same time without bumping into each other. hallways were dirty, carpets were worn.

Check in went fine. We were checked in, in a timely manor. While walking to the elevator we noticed multiple dead bugs on the floor. Once we entered our room we immediately noticed 6 stink beetles in the room. We went down to the front desk and we got an upgraded room at no charge so A for that. We then got into our new room and there were 2 more visible beetles. The bathroom was dirty with dirt and hair on the floor. There was what I would assume bird poop on the wall. There were missing tiles that were the molding near the kitchen area. I’ve stayed here around 5 years ago and it has significantly went down in quality. I went back down stairs to return the 1st rooms key and mentioned that we found more bugs. The front desk guy told me to keep the door close to the outside balcony, but we never even went outside. The price was reasonable, and I hope that this gets figured out and they hire an exterminator. The area is very nice and seems to be safe.

This property needs a lot of maintenance. My room was very small, the bathroom with broken tiles. The carpet in the hallways looks old and dirty. They didn’t clean the room and change the towels either the first day because I didn’t request it ( it’s what they told me). The second day I filled a request form so they can clean the room and still didn’t do it. After talking to them , they moved me to another clean room. Not good experience.

The bathroom was not very clean. The tub needs to be replaced with the faucet which was rusty and there were stains on the bathroom wall. The room was large and had a nice balcony. It could have used some nicer chairs. The ones there were metal and old.The breakfast room was not very nice and the garbage cans looked like no one ever cleaned the top. It really needed an extra person to keep up with the cleaning. We were on the third floor which was great as the parking lot for that level was near are room. The location was great if you plan on going to Mount Rushmore which is two miles away.
