Pleasant stay
The room was well-presented with clean towels and a clean toilet. It would have been a help if a grab handle could have been provided by the bath and shower as getting in and out of the bath when wet with nowhere to hold on was difficult for an older person.

A Charming Town on the French Rivera
This is a wonderful hotel. Right smack in front of a beautiful beach with sparkling clear water. Great for swimming. Le Lavandou is a wonderful town with lots of families. The couple who r an the hotel could not be nicer! What a wonderful buffet breakfast in a beautiful room over looking the Sea.

Beach Heaven
Brilliant location for beach holiday. Great beach for sun bathing and safe swimming. Hotel ran by friendly family, very helpful. Best shower I've ever had in any hotel anywhere. Many places to eat locally. Never had a car for the weeks stay and never missed it. Will probably go back one day.

Gem in Lavandou
We throroughly enjoyed the Espadon. The location in the pedestrianised area is perfect, beautiful views from sea facing rooms but no noise. The owners are charming and have put a lot of thought into the design and furnishing of the hotel. If you choose a terrace room the in-room fridge is handy for an outdoor snack. The nearby parking options are also helpful. The breakfast is adequate but could be improved by offering some fresh fruit.

Close to beach,restaurants and shops
Hotel was charming as were the hosts. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the lounge overlooking the beach was plentiful and full of variety, Hotel was peacful but attentive. Will be returning in the spring for a longer stay.

Excellent location - parking could be a problem, fortunately, we were lucky at all times.
While it enjoys a very central location, it may be necessary to pay for parking at most times. It is close to a very fine beach, and also the port, if one wanted to take a boat trip or two. In addition, there are many fine restaurants within a few minutes of the hotel. Breakfast is just average for French hotels, and the beds could not be described as very comfortable, and may not suit some people (backs!). The corridor layout could prove to be a hazard in the case of a fire. Overall, the management was excellent, and I would recommend this hotel to a friend, and would be prepared to stay there again if planning to return to Lavandou.

Hotel Espadon, Le Lavandou
We recently spent a 3 night stay at the Hotel Espadon. We had a side sea view room which was exeptionally clean with comfy large bed, powerful shower (over the bath) and tea and coffee making facitites. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We didn't take breakfast so can't coment on that, but overall a lovely hotel. We would definitely book again!
