The room was a short walk from Times Square but very small. Just enough room for a bed and a bathroom which was okay considering we spent most of our time sightseeing and going to shows. They offer a grab and go breakfast and considering the congestion, don't plan to eat in the lobby unless you get there really early. I love that we could store our luggage for free before checking in and after checking out. Also the staff was very welcoming. The room was worth the price considering we could walk everywhere we needed to go: Central Park, Times Square, St Patrick's Cathedral, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center...

It was okay. The room was smaller than I thought it would be, and the coffee maker had only 1 decaf coffee for the two of us. The check-in was delayed for at least a half hour. Other than that, it was fine.

The breakfast is terrible, there is no cool variety, in the ad they say there is a parking lot and it's not true. You need to walk two blocks to have a parking lot and still pay $60 per night. It left a lot to be desired. I won't come back and I don't recommend it.

We checked into the hotel and were place on a floor with the maintenance staff. Every morning at 7am all the way through until 10pm, you could hear the staff talking loudly or filling the hallways with garbage, sheets, carts, etc. (see photo). Further, during our stay, we came to find out the hotel had received a notice from the NY commissioner of health and mental hygiene for operating without a permit. The notice was dated in March but it was still on the front door of the hotel. It wasn't clear if the hotel should have been operating at all.

Too expensive and a fire hazard.
The room was in the basement with no light of day ever. There are no stairs in the basement only a door that says staff only. It's a fire hazard. For more than $400 a day it could have been better.
