Comfort Inn Bloomington <0 Starts
I had tried all week to contact the hotel to advise of a late check-in in accordance with our travel plans to no avail. Upon arrival I was advised that our room had been canceled eventhough I had received an email advising of check-in (assuming automated) and asking for a review of the check-in experience. The manager advised that he would have to book a new room and I'd have to pay their full rate and request a refund from Hotels.com/Expedia. When I told him that was unacceptable and became argumentative with him he ordered me to leave the hotel and threatened to call the police. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel and/or staff anywhere in the world in my years of travel. I'll never stay with anther Comfort Inn.
I went next door to the Holiday in and explained my experience to them and was accomodaed immediately with a discount rate and was comfortably in bed within 15 minutes.
