Tired hotel
Very tired hotel. All the caulking seemed to be 10 years old throughout the room. Terrible odor throughout the hotel. Worst free breakfast I had in a while. Tables and chairs to eat were very cheap. The mattress on the bed was also very old and not comfortable. I guess you do often get what you pay for. This is not an 80 rated place.

Ok stay.
The hotel had beach access. It was old. Had kitchenette. Only the mattress and bedding was wore out. Our mattress was falling apart. And bedding was old and wore out. Breakfast was only a few things.

Do not stay here
The place was definitely sub-par the hot tub & pool equipment was not working from storm damage. The beach during high tide was not usable. Coffee maker was old, they did not even offer sugar or creamer paks in your room. Had to pick them up at front desk. Fire alarm went off making us to vacate the hotel. The morning breakfast was just breakfast bars and the coffee was mostly empty or not made. There seemed to be only 3 employees a manager, front desk person and cleaning person. I chose this place on reviews that had been posted about, they were far from the truth. I am throughly disappointed and am going to file a complaint with you and BBB!

Its ok.
Hotel lobby smelled like someone smoked. Floor mats were very stained, breakfast area was preety basic. Location of the hotel is good, right on the beach. Room was specious and clean, but preety outdated furnature sofa had stains.

I recently stayed at Emerald Shores Resort and, frankly, I can't understand how it’s rated an 8 out of 10. Does this website have bots faking reviews? Are people doing that now? The hotel had a pervasive moldy smell that was hard to ignore, and the furniture looked like it was picked up from a flea market or found on the side of the road. The bathtub had noticeable stains from previous guests, and the elevators reeked of urine and vomit. To make matters worse, the mattresses were stained and clearly worn down. The sheets were at least seemingly clean. Rooms TERRRIBLY SMALL. The TV was outdated, but the real issue was the remote—old, dirty, and missing a battery cover. It barely worked - hardly functional at all. The shower’s water pressure was almost nonexistent, forcing me to wash my hair in the bathroom sink where the water flow was better. On a positive note, the AC worked well and kept the room nice and cold. The location, right on the beach, was a big plus, but unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. If you’re looking for a place to stay with more comfort and cleanliness, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Thinking about posting a video of all the issues I have listed, but I have already used up enough time write this review.
