Almost wonderful
A beautiful hotel and tastefully decorated for Christmas. The staff was helpful and friendly. My only concern is the extra cost for our 7 lb dog --$75 is a bit much. Except for that additional cost, we wouldn't likely stay here several times each year as we travel back and forth from PA to FL and vice versa.

Great hotel pretty close to campus.
Great Blacksburg area hotel I had not stayed at before. Stayed for a football weekend and was very pleasantly surprised. They had a complimentary happy hour on Friday evening that was fantastic. Breakfast both mornings was very good relative to typical hotel 'free' breakfasts. The service was fantastic by the entire staff. Will definitely stay there again.

Our new favorite hotel at Tech
Stayed for a Tech football game. This hotel is really a prime spot. Not in the downtown area but still really close to everything. Staff is great, lobby and rooms are nice and clean and they do lots of little things to treat the guests and make them feel welcome

The property is convenient for our reasons for staying. It is convenient to restaurants and stores. What we didn't like: The coffee, even the dark roast was very weak even after bringing it to the staff's attention. I'm not big on pets staying in the hotels and I certainly I'm against pets being allowed into the breakfast and restaurant area's which we experienced. Breakfast food items were very limited and for $200 per night, we expect a hardy breakfast to start our day and continued travels.
