One bad employee ruins a stay
The clerk at the front desk, Rachel, was unbelievably rude. A large section around the university was blocked off so our GPS did not work and we had an extremely difficult time reaching the hotel. She did not have any idea what was happening. When we were trying to explain she said, "don't you have a phone, what kind of phone do you have, why didn't you use it." After we left that subject with her continuing with her attitude (I had called the hotel 3 different times with no answer), my husband asked if we come in late what door should we come through. Rachel pointed at the front door. Needless to say our interaction with her went down hill from there. When we arrived in our room we discovered there was no remote for the TV and the safe was locked. Do you think we called Rachel for assistance? We had stayed there before. But never again. The gentleman at the front desk in the morning was nice and apologetic.
