Poco Diablo Poco No Bueno
We checked in for a brief getaway before Xmas rush. The initial room we were given - we arrive at the room, the door is ajar. Not knowing what we would find, we slightly opened the door to find dirty towels and unmade beds. We drive back to the front desk and advise the staff. They complimented an appetizer at their property restaurant. Return to the new room and I was disappointed. The room was very dated, cabinet in bathroom was old and the door didn’t close. The tub was almost rounded where each step during showering felt like you would fall. The pillows were as flat as a sheet, luckily there were four to a bed. If you’re a dog lover, this is the place for you with their morning 6am barks. Ice machine was not working. For a “resort”, I expected more. Although the properly grounds were beautiful. The restaurant was good. I guess it’s true you get what you pay for and this “resort” was the least expensive in Sedona. Will not be returning.

Great value for the money spent.
William at the front desk is the best. He is very professional, proficient and extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. The room I was in unfortunately needed a bit of updating but overall the view out into the grass lawn was great! I saw a wild fox just casually walking around. Lots of dogs with their owners as it is very pet friendly property. Love it and I will return for another stay.

Sub-par stay for the money
the room was sub par-carpet was dirty and stained, room was dark and dingey. Tub was stained and looked filthy, bathroom door had a hook hanging off of it with screws missing. our room had an upgrade for "outdoor patio/balcony" but looked directly onto a retaining wall next to hot tub-no view here! cant believe there wasnt a better room available on this property....

Great location
The location is excellent and highly convenient, with beautiful surroundings. The hotel room was spacious but felt outdated. The biggest issue was the heating/AC system—its motor was extremely loud, making it nearly impossible to sleep with it running.

Nice and Very Quiet Resort
We enjoyed our stay. The resort is very quiet/serene. The bed was not very comfortable, and the room was outdated. We were told a new management purchased the property, and that they will be updating the entire resort. The front clerks were very polite and professional. There was a small Keurig in the room; however, it would’ve been so much better if they had coffee available to drink in the lobby. We were told we could purchase coffee in the restaurant on the premises. We went to the restaurant, but the coffee machetes broken.

This not the same as it was in the 90’s but is still a nice place to stay for the money. Our basic king room was very roomy! Everything worked well and was quite comfortable. The best part was the stargazing event last night. It was spectacular!! The grounds our beautiful and the the surrounding scenery is Sedona at its best.
