Game Set Match
A perfect place to stay in Melbourne and within walking distance to the Aus Open. Great, friendly service from all the hotel team we encountered. Loads of great eating places nearby too! Paid valet parking right next door looked after our car which was not needed as everything is within walking distance … or catch a tram/bus if you need to go out further afield. Would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne.

A forgettable experience
Lengthy check in and check out , primary lifts not working upgrading ?had to walk through fire doors and fire corridors to access alternate lifts. Reaching floor again needed to go through fire door into another area to reach my room . Carpet outside room had a foul smell ,room was very basic . No air conditioning in bar area only fans .

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, blac out curtains worked a treat, spacious room, good bathroom and shower. You couldn’t ask for more. Staff were helpful and friendly and always greeted you when you walked past the reception desk.

Great location and very reasonable rates. Rooms are a nice size and the balcony was a very welcome feature. Bedding and furniture in good condition. Staff were helpful and separate parking ($40 extra a night) is convenient though not run by the hotel.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay before flying internationally. First time at this hotel, great location, easy walking distance to all eating, shopping, trams. Clean, spacious room, comfy bed, handy to have iron & ironing board to use, quiet, onsite restaurant, terrific breakfast available, prepay the night before & get a discount, was good value for money, excellent staff service, very happy with stay.
