Love the New Yorker!
This was a trip for our 20th anniversary & it was our first time staying here. Although it's an older hotel it was absolutely perfect. All the staff was so extremely nice & helpful. The guy who checked us in upgraded our room for free when we told him it was our anniversary. We were so happy with the location, the room, the staff- the NewYorker has gained lifelong customers from us.

The New Yorker - A Windham hotel is a winner
My trip was made better by Mohammed at the front desk. He was friendly, welcoming, kind, and efficient. hotels.com had messed something up but Mohammed made it all work out. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker and a mini fridge. I didn't need the fridge this trip because it was only overnight, but when I stay here again for a couple of days I will bring back leftovers. The hotel is conveniently located near Penn Station and the subway. There are dozens of good restaurants nearby. It is a short walk to Broadway and Times Square without being in the middle of the chaos.

Rude employees
Hotel was fine, some employees were nice and some were not. I had a fair share of employees be rude and dismissive. I understand it’s holiday season and stress levels are high but being kind and patient to people shouldn’t be that big or a deal.

Worst room ever!
The room was really small, the beds were not even full size beds. No microwave, no refrigerator, the restroom was super small. Room was rented to sleep four people but everything was crowded. The hall ways had a bad smell. I paid over $1,200 for 3 nights thinking I was getting a good deal it was a ripped off. Next time I will just book in a normal hotel name. I was really disappointed!!
