Fun Stay in the Theater District
We traveled to NYC for the purpose of seeing a couple of Broadway shows and chose the Hotel Edison because of its location in the heart of the Theater District. We stayed in a Signature room with 2 queen beds, which provided the space we needed. The room was clean, and the towels were wonderfully fluffy. We loved the adjacent restaurant, Friedmans, and used the hotel breakfast vouchers that gave a choice of 4 breakfast options for $6.50. We ate pre-show dinner there twice, and enjoyed the singing waiters. We felt safe and secure. It was a fun stay.

A 5-star Hotel right in the heart of Times Square!
We had an issue on check-in that was very upsetting (long story). We ran out of hot water the last 2 days of our visit or I would have given them 5 stars. Overall, I loved this hotel and would definitely recommend staying here. Very convenient to Times Square and many shops and attractions....

Great stay at The Edison!
Great experience at this hotel. The rum bar and cafe attached to hotel are excellent for night time cocktails and breakfast. The hotel is very responsive to guest’s requests, and the lobby is bustling and spacious. Great location in Times Square. Rooms are clean but nothing fancy. A great hotel but not upscale.

The hotel was beautiful and staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for New Years celebrations and it was in a great location to Times Square, broadway shows, and several great restaurants. The only complaint I have is that the AC unit in our room was so loud that it would wake us up several times a night (I mean LOUD. I sleep through alarms and this thing woke me up multiple times per night) so we didn’t get great rest. It also would not regulate the temp in the room well, it was either blowing ice cold air or hot air, there wasn’t an in-between. I don’t know if it is like this in all rooms or we just got bad luck. To be fair we did not address it with hotel staff as they were completely booked up we knew they couldn’t move our room even if we asked. The grab and go breakfast was good for a free hotel breakfast and the in hotel restaurant Bond 45 was great.
