We entered the the golden zaan which we booked through Expedia and was asked straight away for extra money which we were not told about. Then once we entered the room it was dirty and smelly and had nothing inside apart from a bed which was also filthy and disgusting. On Expedia it was said that the room that we had booked had a mini fridge and that it was a queen bed room this was nothing like described and the pictures were also falsely advertised as the room looked nothing like this. We could not stay there and explained this to reception, as we booked through Expedia they had said we need to issue the refund through you. Then management ignored the calls and denied the refund. Such poor experience from both the hotel and Expedia. Expedia were very unsupportive and said they cannot do anything as the hotel did not give permission. Expedia are falsely advertising this hotel and this should not be allowed! Very bad customer service from both sides and will not be using Expedia again!
