Another highlight was its location, just steps from Bikini Beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful shoreline. However, there were several issues. We booked a room with a balcony and sea view but got a small window facing a brick wall. Management first denied the mistake, then blamed Expedia, despite Expedia confirming the hotel...

"Nice villas, fresh as the resort is built recently, good variety of food, different events daily to entertain people (tennis/Voleyball/cocktail events, etc). Beautiful track comes out in strava if you run around the resort , part of the villas are heart shaped.

"The Barcelo Whale Laggon is just a paradise on earth! we tried both the water villa sunset and the beach villa suite sunset, and it was 2 marvellous experience. "Great place to stay. All the staff were super helpful and very friendly. Made our stay very pleasant and memorable. There was some confusion regarding rooms initially due to some overbooking, but they quickly sorted that out and gave us a free upgrade to their best villa - temptation pool villa since it was my birthday which was a very nice gesture. Good amount of water activities at this location. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this place."
