"This place is amazing. Great service, amazing rooms. Perfect with both pool and ocean swimming. Great place to just hang out, you have everything you need there. The only thing is that it was a few families with kids which made it not very relaxing. We could be a bit unlucky, but maybe contact the hotel before booking to check if there are families with kids that have booked at the same time as you want to go. "

"The place is great for a retreat. The lodges are spaceful, with air and view, very unique. In addition, I especially enjoyed the service from the Manager Martin: I had told him I was arriving late and couple sandwiches were waiting at my room so that I wouldn't go to bed with an empty stomach. And I asked him to organize for me a fishing party which he did fantastically and for a very reasonable price. I went early morning an hour out from the coast fishing Tuna with good and experienced guys....

"We had amazing 9 days staying in the Fruit & Spice Well nes Resort. Hotel is very nicely located and is neighbouring beautiful sandy beach. We had stayed in Superior Junior Suite for the first 5 days and each of them has adjacent small sandy area with sunbeds, umbrella and amazing ocean view (rocky shore so you cannot enter the sea). As there were only 4 sunbeds most of the time it was like a private area only for our couple. The food at restaurant was delicious and the choice would satify most...

"A truly magical holiday with great attentive staff, Nitin and his team really looked after us. The resort is set in a very natural surrounding and there is lots of opportunity to catch the wildlife in action (including cheeky monkeys!). Pool was great for long swims, fitness centre was very well equipped. The food was immaculate! Both the lunch and dinner menu amazed us every time we dined. Evening entertainment was very entertaining! I recommend you go for all inclusive

"Absolutely beautiful place to spend 5 days. Utterly clean, great food, cold drinks, very very cheap, free kayaks and paddle boards, good shower, friendly dogs, interesting wildlife, really friendly staff, loads of interesting places to sit and lay down in the communal area, can walk quite far out into the Indian ocean when the tide is out and it faces west so the view of the sun setting each evening is spectacular. I'll give it a 14 out of 10!!! "

"Outstanding resort in Nungwi. From the time I arrived until my departure the service was top notch. If there was an issue it was resolved quickly to ensure you had the best possible time at The Sands resort. The gentleman named Ally was like having a vacation angel watching over you to make sure you were enjoying your time there. He constantly checked on us and other guest. We appreciate him for doing so. The food was delicious and each day a different selection of items. There were 2 chefs...
