The Dragon’s Rest Sanctuary - Yulong River Branch
"The staff are wonderful. Accommodating and very helpful. The hotel is a great location out of the hustle and bustle of Yangshou. The facilities are super for what is required of the area. Laundry on site was a great help."
Banyan Tree Yangshuo
"The hotel was nested between the Yangshuo mountains, it was a beautiful place, very clean and comfortable. During our stay Alice was very helpful with everything, she put a lot of effort to make us feel 100% comfortable and to make sure we had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. She helped us out booking the photographer and the transfers to the railway station and solving all the doubts we had. She also was super nice and friendly, it was a real pleasure talking to her every single time! Thank you so much for making our stay feel the best Alice!"
Yangshuo Zen Garden Resort - Yulong River
"Garden Zen was truly an amazing resort nestled along the Yulong River allowing you to discover the region at your own pace while enjoying quality amenities and top-notch service. Pool was amazing in the heat and we got to enjoy morning meditation and Tai Chi sessions!"
Yangshuo Ancient Garden Boutique Hotel
"This is a gem of a hotel. Tucked away so you wouldn’t even know it was there. We arrived at night and it was beautifully lit and in a gorgeous setting. The staff are wonderful- friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The chef is great - highly recommend having dinner there. They also booked a tour and guide for us which was great. Everyone and everything is perfect."
Riverside Wing Hotel Guilin
"Overall, a very good stay and good value for the money. The hotel is in a convenient location, the facilities were clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good. A few minor negatives: the child bed was really just a mattress placed on the floor, and there was no proper table and chair in the room—only a child-sized seat. The hotel also advertised coffee in the lobby, but there was no actual coffee available, only premixed instant coffee/creamer/sugar sticks. Overall, though, we were happy with our stay and would consider staying here again."
YangShuo Percent Hotel
"Great food, great view good rooms. Great location very close to centre and right by the river."
Yangshuo Fairyland Hotel
"The staff at this hotel were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. They have e-bikes which you can rent. One of the staff even came and found me when I got lost!! The property is about 7km from the town but very doable if you take the e-bikes and the hotel provides helmets. The pool is very instagrammable! The views were amazing. They also have local costumes available for dressing up in if that appeals. There are lots of high tech gizmos, including a Japanese style toilet, a movie screen that comes down from the roof and automated curtains. All can be controlled by voice commands (if you speak Chinese)! This was our favourite hotel and we’d love to go back."
Guilin O-LIVE Social Hotel
"Nice hotel to stay !"
Guilin Lijiang Waterfall Hotel
"Great place, if you book your activities through the activity desk you get transportation right from the hotel. For us there was no one else with us.(private driver)."

This period offers great value for money, allowing visitors on a budget to experience the charm of Guilin through activities such as biking, guided tours, sightseeing, boating, rafting, and an exploration of the countryside and quaint small towns.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: When planning a trip to Guilin, you may discover attractive hotel deals by browsing the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. Enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and ensure you never miss an opportunity to save on your next getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay at a Guilin hotel. For those interested in a distinctive experience, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised service and sometimes better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially secure a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Guilin's excellent public transport connections, you may discover more affordable independent hotels located a bit further out that are still conveniently linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
