Stuttgart and related destinations
Automotive enthusiasts find nirvana at the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche Museums, where Germany's engineering prowess gleams under perfect lighting. The Old Castle looms over Schillerplatz, where locals gather for coffee amid Renaissance splendour. Stuttgart's cultural credentials extend beyond cars to the Stuttgart National Theatre and Opera, where performances rival those in more celebrated European capitals. After museum-hopping, soak tired muscles at Leuze Mineral Baths, a local ritual that feels both medicinal and indulgent. Wilhelma Zoo houses creatures in buildings that look like they belong in Arabian Nights, a curious but delightful architectural choice that children find magical.

Ruby Hanna Hotel Stuttgart by IHG
"Great hotel. Had washer and dryer available which we made use of. Very comfortable rooms and excellent staff."
Premier Inn Stuttgart City Centre
"Air conditioning wasn’t as efficient since I was waking up in the middle of the night in a sweat. Loved the view though from my hotel. Location was good as it was near a U bahn stop to take to the station."
Maritim Hotel Stuttgart
"When you first walk in the doors it’s striking how this place is so stuck in the 80’s, and the walkway to the other wing is just… strange. But after being here for a short while you realize how well built and cared for the property is. Spacious rooms, very clean and very friendly staff. Short distance to the train station (just 2 stops from Berliner Platz across the street to Stuttgart hbf), but because the main train station is in a perpetual state of construction leave some time to walk in between."
Adina Apartment Hotel Stuttgart
"Ideal place to visit Stuttgart, shopping center nearby and you feel at home."
Motel One Stuttgart-Hauptbahnhof
"I was in Germany visiting my daughter who lives south of Stuttgart. As my visit was ending, I needed to catch a train from Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof to Frankfurt Airport Bahnhof. I decided to stay overnight in Stuttgart near the Hauptbahnhof, before my train trip. I chose Motel One because of its proximity to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof. The hotel was GREAT! There is so much construction around Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof that it is a nightmare to get in and out of it. Motel One is just a block or two away from all of the construction, so my daughter could easily drop me off there. I was able to drop off my suitcases at the front desk before my check-in. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful, in German and in English. Just a few blocks away from the hotel, I was able to explore Stuttgart’s Altstadt and Konigstrasse shopping district for the whole day until my hotel check-in time at 3:00 p.m. There were many restaurants within walking distance to the hotel, plus a big grocery store (REWE). When I checked in, the front desk staff were very kind to get my stored suitcases and even helped me onto the elevator. The hotel room was very clean and modern. I signed up for the breakfast buffet for the next morning. It was a regular German breakfast with meats, cheeses, breads and fruit, but there was a wide variety of excellent croissants and Brötchen. The dining room was very modern and comfortable. The front desk staff were so helpful with walking directions to the Hauptbahnhof."
Premier Inn Stuttgart Zuffenhausen
"The room was clean and really cool in this hot summer. We all slept well and enjoyed our stay."
Premier Inn Stuttgart City Europaviertel
"The Premier Inn was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. It is in a great location near the central train station which allowed us to travel easily throughout the city. I would stay there again."
Rioca Stuttgart Posto 4
"Great location to walk over to the porche museum and factory tour. You must book the tour in advance. Room is great, beds are a 7/10. Hotel hallways are very dark in colour and illumination as it only lights up based on sensors. Cool features in the rooms. Lots of speakers and all tvs have Chromecast. They are air conditioned as long as the juliet balcony doors are closed. About 15 min walk to train station."
Motel One Stuttgart-Mitte
"overall ok stay"

This duration allows for ample time to explore significant landmarks, including museums, theatres, castles, and monuments, as well as enjoying the vibrant dining scene and charming cafés. - Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay in a Stuttgart hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels can offer a more personalised touch and sometimes better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates appears above or below the average. Should the cost seem high, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but with Stuttgart's outstanding public transport options, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
