This hotel is one block away from the main street which is really convenient for travelers, it has the basic needs for a short stay and the people in charge are extra nice and attentive, the hotel is clean and warm.

A little bit of street noise like car alarms going off but to be expected from such a convenient location to busy downtown. Dangerous and horrible hotel - recomend to avoid
This hotel was a scam. We felt extremely unsafe ending up with hotels.com stuff suggesting us to call the police and leave. Team was rude, lied to us on shortening out stay and was intimidating throughout our entire stay - especially the reservation center. The hotel also decided to charge 4 more nights after we left for no reason, telling us its hotels.com problem. Hotels.com explained it’s just Hotel Kalken taking our money and refusing to answer them for weeks. I would do everything to avoid Hotel Kalken at any cost.
