Lovely stay with amazing food
Amazing hotel, beautiful castle and grounds. Carriage rooms are spacious and decorated beautifully. You can hear everything from next room though. All the staff were so helpful and nice. Food at the golf club and at hotel breakfast was absolutely divine. Super tasty! Breakfast also had freshly squeezed orange juice. Definitely will be back someday to try the afternoon tea.

Castle stay. Worth it.
Come on, it was stay in a castle! Loved it. Though I arrived late, I loved grabbing a drink and hanging out by the fire in the reception area and walking the grounds at night. The bed was so comfortable and waking up to the amazing breakfast did the trick of refreshing me after a long drive the day before.

We had such a beautiful break in this hotel!! It is so unique with so much character & charm. Breakfast in 1180 room was beautiful and Dinner in The Drawing room felt very special. My only dissatisfaction was the breakfast, served at the table cold, and the staff immediately replaced it with slightly warmer servings, but unfortunately, the only quality item was the fried egg, all the other ingredients were sub-standard. This property is simply stunning! We had the best stay and would return in a heartbeat. The grounds are beautiful, the property is so much fun to explore and the Carriage House rooms are beautiful.
