Very poor experience, lovely building but needs much work as things are broken and it requires thoroughly cleaning. There was building work taking place on the external wall of the riad until late at night and starting again at 6am! The noise from the hammering was unbearable.I complained but was told this was out of the riad's control. They offered for me to move to their other riad and so late at night I was marched through the medina only to find a property in an even worse state of decor so I declined. I left the next day which was a day early. When I asked for breakfast the guy stated that he would allow me to have breakfast (which was included in the room rate) because he was kind but he should not really do so because I had complained and was leaving early! I told him to stick his breakfast and left. The owner and staff at Riad Dalia have much to learn about hospitality and good customer service. The place is in desperate need of repair and redecoration and a thorough clean. The seating on the roof terrace was filthy, we had to wash it ourselves before e could use it and the rugs in the rooms have I suspect never seen a vacuum cleaner in their lives! Tetouan is a lovely city and there are many lovely places to stay. Choose carefully and avoid this awful place and it's out of touch personnel and you will have a lovely time i'm sure!

While the building itself is beautiful my experience here was very disappointing. The host, who was new, was delightful, kind and helpful but the room was depressing and cold with a light that didn't work. I used a bathroom that was downstairs and flooded when I had a shower, making it hard to keep my clothes and towel dry. The man who lives there, made an attempt at warmth when I left but the rest of the time behaved as if I was invading his space and couldn't speak any English.

An out of the world kind of place that you only dream about and Omar and staff work very hard to please. Wonderful breakfast. They take care of you, and make sure that you are okay. Louttfi a local guide for suggested for me to help me get around since I was by myself in a woman. It was such a smart way to go. We probably covered more area in 2 days then people could do in 4 days. Thank you for your kindness and hope to come back again soon.

Omar and the staff were wonderful. The hotel is actually an old house from the 1500's. the house is in the old Medina and from the rooftop you could see all around especially the new Medina and mountains. Omar recommended to me a local guide for very reasonable price. Ask for Louttfi! And enjoyed learning again and why we had classes of History.

I thought I’d already reviewed this charming Riad, which is right out of the ‘Arabian Nights, but now having stayed in two nominally better and substantially more expensive Moroccan hotels, I can report the Dalia was our best accommodation and Tetouan’s Médina is better than the Fes equivalent, and though not nearly a lovely as Chefchaouen’s azure masterpiece, this Médina is definitely better unless you’re shopping for Chinese trinkets. Proprietor Omar is fantastically helpful and their super-safe and interesting driver Taoufik made our visit perfect. Note that on arrival, you should call for someone on staff to guide you to the riad as the tall and narrow Médina walls prevent reasonable cell reception.

Welcoming staff and lovely room right in the medina. Awesome breakfast. Comfortable bed but unfortunately the sheet was way too small for the bed so we were sleeping on the bare mattress half the time. We had a home cooked dinner in the riad - sooo good!!! Thanks for a great stay.

Traditional architecture and decoration, right in the medina. Restaurant on site. Nice breakfast. Exceptionnally hepful staff. Terrasse with a view.

Personnel à l allure très fatiguée, aucun accueil petit déjeuner minimaliste, même pas une bouteille d eau ! Repas sans saveur.

the Riad Dalia is 'authentic' and - as a result - rather 'rustic'. It is strange blend of genuine beauty and decay. The young man who is usually around in the afternoon and evenings is very welcoming and helpful. the cheaper rooms are dark and rather small. The terrace has a great potential but is left in a state of abandon ... The ground floor really lovely.

Belle suite dans un joli riad dans la medina de Tetouan. Notre hote vient à notre rencontre au lieu de RDV et nous accompagne au Riad. Nous étions dans la suite du 1er étage, très belle et très spacieuse.
