    A different take on Mahe island. Very serene and spiritual atmosphere. A great view on the north side of Mahe as seen from way up the hill but still under 15 minutes by car from the airport or cenetr of town. No need to go in town to eat as the Chef 's cuisine is really excellent. Bedrooms are spacious and you are made to feel at home. We would not hesitate to go back!

    Wonderful view from the hotel! Rashid and other staff are lovely and we were so grateful how early he got up before our flight to make fresh coffee. On the downside, it was disappointing that our room did not have hot water (we stayed in the room called 'Gratitude'). In addition, some of the room decor was tatty (e.g. water stained chair). It was also frustrating that whilst there is free WIFI it times out every 15 minutes and you have to log back in. Finally, it would be a good idea if rooms have AC, especially given the relative humidity in the hills. All in all, a fair experience at a relatively reasonable price but some refinements are required.
