The staff were prompt and helpful, as was the checkin and checkout experience. The food in the restaurant is good. The property though really needs a renovation. The carpets in the hallway were dirty. The bathroom floor felt like it was not maintained very well. And the hotel floors near the restaurant were a little sticky.

Very professional and comfortable to be around staff. They even changed our room on the first day of our stay when we did not fancy the first room - these things are why we prefer this hotel above others. The staff are genuinely the most helpful, and cheerful that I've come across.

Awkward design and layout. The idea of having a wardrobe stuck within the washroom seemed strange. The staff were very helpful but the room was not ready for us when we arrived. But the layout is what was the most unattractive.

We tried checking in at the time we had informed them - 11.00 p.m. - but they said we should have checked in before 6.00 p.m. How could we do that when our flight hadn't even arrived in Calcutta! WARNING - do not use this hotel - they may randomly cancel your booking.
