Beautiful property, exceptional service
The service here was truly exceptional - from front desk to restaurant to beach to drivers, the people here were incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and proactive. The common areas of the property itself are also gorgeous - architecturally striking and beautifully appointed. The views of the ocean from the main property are stunning. And Prickly Pear Island is a beautiful beach, with some calm wading water on the south side. Only two issues with the property (whether these end up being important to you depends on your preference). First, our room had a slightly moldy smell (a side effect of the humid climate, doubtless, but unfortunate nonetheless). Second, the beach at the main property (north-facing, not the Prickly Pear beach) is much rougher and less swimmable than the perfect placid Caribbean beach you might envision (an artifact of it being on the north side of the island - nothing specific to the property). The perfect calm waters are found by Dickinson Bay and Jolly Harbour. The hotel is happy to arrange a taxi for you to those places, but if you're looking to walk to the beach and spend lots of time in the water (especially with small kids), you might be better served staying in one of those areas. Overall though - a beautiful property, great people, and a compelling value proposition for most potential guests.

Pleasant and beautiful
The stay was amazing, we got a free upgrade and everyone was nice. Only downfall was that anything discussed to be done was not done which left me kind of upset but the staff still pulled through after explaining what was discussed prior. Hotel food was so so. But place and accommodation is spectacular!!!!

Off In Paradise
Upon arrival I was in awe of the hotel. The decor was beautiful. I felt like I was in paradise. I was greeted with my choice of drink and did not have to touch my luggage. The hotel staff was amazing from the beginning of my stay until the end. I traveled for a quick getaway while I still work from my computer. I chose a room with an ocean view and was completely satisfied. I was able to hear the beach water at night while I had my balcony door open. It was truly serene. I will definitely return again. I recommend anyone that’s traveling for business, solo, with friends, and or with their family to stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Stylish well appointed hotel, friendly staff, good restaurant, beautiful position on the ocean! We had an oceanfront room which was clean and simple. Hotel was very quiet when we were there (mid/late November) so lacked a bit of atmosphere but still beautiful.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights & 4 days. The hotel coordinated for us to be picked up from the airport which cost $25 US. When we arrived at the resort, we were welcomed with a wet cleaning towel and given a perfect rum punch as a welcome drink. We had an ocean view room w/ a balcony. The room was perfect. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The resort is peaceful and quiet- if you are looking for a relaxing experience. It has a beautiful ambiance with it’s unique art work. The hotel was accommodating by allowing us to check out late since we had an evening flight- of course there was a fee but it wasn’t expensive. If you are hungry at 2am- no worries- the kitchen is open 24/7 ! I do wish the menu had more options that reflected local food. While swimming be mindful as the water can be a bit wavy but I think is due to the back & forth of the boats used to get to Prickly Pear Island which we did not get to try- however we heard good music coming from them. Taxis will be the main expense as food is reasonably priced. Ask for John John to be your driver - he is the best !

Gorgeous property, amazing staff, clean, our room was very nice. Only downside the plugs wasn’t working in the room only one by the bathroom and tv. Then we were hoping to have fine dining at the restaurant and it wasnt open. I suggest having that and more lively activities to draw more people because property and staff is 5/5. Amenities could be better. Overall 4/5. Oh and the food usually main attraction of hospitality was pretty Americanized you know you go to an island you want to try other things. Absolutely should add a section for that and breakfast options like saltfish, snapper, shrimp etc was much options for me.

Vacationed here in June on a couples trip. This was right before the U.S. lifted its covid test requirement for re-entry. This location did offer testing, so that was convenient but it did cost $150 usd per person which sucked. We were given rum punch on arrival. They gave us an upgraded room shortly after checking into our original room. Both were really nice and had great views. I would suggest getting an itemized receipt upon checking out because my balance went from 250 (the night before checkout) to 600 real quick and I can't tell you what I was charged for. That's my mistake. There were two instances where housekeepers attempted enter our room without knocking. Other than that, the staff was really nice and helpful. The food options weren't that great but I recommend the ribs, jerk chicken wings, and/or a burger. Prickly Pear was nice but it pretty much had the same food/drink options as the resort and no plumbing in the restroom. There weren't any major amenities. Overall, the stay was definitely a vibe (amazing views & rooms) but not really worth the money spent. We didn't leave the resort at all so I would do that if I was to ever come back.

Staff were super friendly and the resort is beautiful. We were upgraded for free and because our dinner was less than what we expected they sent a complimentary bottle of champagne to our room the next morning. My family and I will definitely visit the resort again.
