I stayed in the 'White' bungalow, which was a lovely high-ceiling open room with a double bed with canopy and a lounge with mosquito net, open air bathroom, and verandah. The room was comfortable, quiet, private and had a lovely glimpse of the beach.
The grounds were well looked after, with a large pool and many sun beds. Located amongst a peanut plantation. The restaurant is simple, but serves tasty food and is reasonably priced. The beach is very nice, although it has black volcanic sand rather than white sand, which I wasn't expecting but was still nice and soft.
The resort is situated about a $3.50 taxi ride from Bangsal, and about 2 hours from the Lombok airport. They have a driver who can pick you up from the airport for about $40 - he was very friendly and polite.
Things to keep in mind for this resort:
1. No outside food permitted in the resort. This means you're expected to either pay for meals at the resort's cafe/restaurant, or eat out elsewhere a taxi ride away. It's easy to bring in snacks and things if you put them in your bag, but it's a bit of a shame that you have to hide it. A bit of a money making ploy on behalf of the resort I think.
2. No eftpos facility. You pay for everything in cash when you check out, including all meals and the room if you haven't already. Make sure you have enough cash with you on the day you leave. The nearest ATM is a 15 minute taxi ride away in town, so bring cash with you if you're only staying a night or two
