We arrived at hotel, which we booked through Expedia NZ, (about 10mins before we arrived.)
Before we even got to see the room we queried if in fact the room had air conditioning. He advised it did not. We said that we really needed air con and were not happy to stay there without it. He did not offer a fan or anything else, but stated that as we had booked through Expedia, and he had not received the money as yet, that we would need to contact them for our refund, which we did immediately.
We are now being told by Expedia that they spoke with the manager and he advised them that we could not get our money back, which is a total lie!!!
We would have reconsidered staying there if we knew we would lose all of our money, which we have now done.
