I stayed in a 3 bed room as I was traveling through Antwerp as part of longer trip. The hostel was nice and my budget. My only compliant has nothing to do with the hostel itself (a guy wouldnt turn the light off way into the night). I would stay here again.

Bedbugs!
Pillow, blanket, and bed were dirty and had multiple stains on them. I didn't use the blanket as it seems most hostels in Europe don't wash them between guests. I watched as housekeeping placed new linens on the bed, but didn't change out the blankets on any of the beds. Gross. I barely slept after I found bedbugs crawling around. The bathroom is in the room which sometimes can be a good thing, but this one had a frosted wall in the shower so every time someone used the bathroom in the middle of the night, the bright light would wake them up. Plus, horrible construction right outside the hostel. Spend more money and stay elsewhere. Not recommended.

Great hostel!
The ASH hostel has a nice location close to the train station, and just a 20 minute walk from the city center. The decoration and building are new and have a modern feeling to it, which is nice. Staff are friendly and glad to help if they can. This is one of the few hostels that I've seen around Europe that has an elevator which is quite comfortable if you're traveling with heavy luggage. Kitchen is fully equipped and has plenty of space for several people to cook or do the dishes at the same time. Communal areas are clean and spacious, with a little patio on the back to enjoy during the summer. Rooms and beds are okay, quite roomy and comfortable, though I have to say that it was pretty uncomfortable to sit up in my bed (I was the bottom one from a bunk bed) since my head would bump with the upper bunk bed. Other than that, my stay at the hostel was lovely (I stayed for just one night) and would definitely go back again.

Friendly youth hostel with private rooms. Basic, clean and easy. We stayed in a double room with private bath. Great view of the avenue below.

You may try to sleep there
No power socket nearing the bed for charging !!! No daily room cleanup, I still saw those used thing in 3 bed dom. Also there is not a heating at room's toilet. No space for luggage or you have to rent a lock. Kitchen is available at fisrt flood, you cab have a simple breakfast there.
