    The lobby has a large atrium, giving a light-filled atmosphere. The gallery on the first floor has a nice sitting area. The hotel has a cosy boutique feeling. The room was exceptionally small however. The breakfast service was good. The staff carried in their approachability and willingness to assist but the majority were helpful

    Service is limited but courteous. Decor is sparse but lovely. Don’t plan any casual meals in hotel. So many choices close by. Convenient to walk about the city.

    A great hotel except for a big glitch

    I loved almost everything about this beautiful hotel: great location by the Old Town, close to the tram, beautiful rehab of an ornate 19th- century bank building, friendly employees. The “almost” has to do with the fact that when I sent a shirt out for laundering, it did not come back in the promised 12 hours, and then it did not come back until 54 hours. Two and a half days! And the staff did not seem to be on top of the situation enough to rectify it quickly. What if I was going to be checking out the following day? What if I need mes that shirt for a special event the following night? The staff at least did not charge me the laundry fee, and they offered apologies, but nothing more. Not a free breakfast, not a free drink in the bar, not one night off of my total seven-night stay; nothing. This is a Relais et Châteaux property, for heaven’s sake. A Best Western would have offered more. So that was the one blot on my otherwise lovely stay.

    The location of this hotel was excellent. Reception area , bar and restaurant decor 1st class and staff very helpful. Our only issue was the size of the room we were allocated ! It was very small although the bathroom was still a good size. Overall we were impressed but the room size meant that we did not feel it was good value !

    We upgraded our room as we chose a double room which did not have a view and you could not open the window, it happens we booked the only room like this. The upgraded room was light and bright with modern furnishings and we slept well. The receptionist Marie-line was so helpful with information about Antwerp, she helped us with our train booking to Paris, organising a taxi, also helped with our luggage and all with a smile to go with it. The hotel is in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay here and wholeheartedly recommend it.
