I had a problem with payment. Hotel wanted cash, which was OK, but they also held security deposits from my bank account, which I had not authorised. Staff command of English very poor, so unable to sort it out myself. Hotels.com also unable (unwilling) to sort out. Without later help from a hostel manager in Xiamen, I think The Milan hotel would have taken too much payment from my bank account, which is very worrying.

Stylish and Comfortable
The Mi Lan is a chic little hotel. Stylish and very comfortable once inside. The Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a little difficult to find but i feel that was a problem with my navigation and the fact there was a significant shopping mall construction underway nearby.
