Lovely hotel at the South end of Camps Bay with easy access to the promenade and shops. Bit of confusion prior to our stay receiving emails asking us to pay for other peoples bookings but we got there in the end! We arrived far too early for check in (sorry can’t control what time flights get in!) but the woman on reception said she would whatsapp us when it was ready. She didn’t. Went back just after 2pm (check in time) so there wasn’t any qualms. We had the penthouse which was great complete with its own mini pool (although too cold to use when we stayed). Breakfast is a do it yourself job with provisions left in the fridge. Nice thought but didn’t use them; i don’t go away on holiday to cook my own breakfast! Bed was comfy, lovely heated floor in the bathroom, nice jacuzzi bath but didn’t have time to use that. Enjoyed our complimentary drinks on our last night. Everyone was pleasant and helpful.

Great hotel in a fantastic seafront location - really nice,spacious and light room with all amenities - Breakfast was a little quirky with bread and pastries freshly delivered each morning and a well stocked fridge. Great views from the Pool Deck and walking into Town Centre was very easy - nice vibe around the hotel with elegant artwork in abundance and staff were exceptionally friendly

Great location in Camps Bay, walking distance to the restaurants and beach. Directly across from the tidal pool, which is nice for calm morning dips in the sea. Modern and clean suite was basically a mini-apartment with a fridge/freezer and kitchen with DIY breakfast. Cool rooftop bar / pool for sunset drinks. Very nice and friendly staff. Only stayed one night, but wish it was longer!

The hotel was a nice surprise. The room was generous in size and comfortably appointed, as was the big terrace. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the hotel offered a host of nice surprises ... laundry self service, generously stocked fridge, fresh bread and pastries in the morning, heated bathroom floor, a breakfast nook on the terrace, great coffees and other snacks, and a turn down service. The hotel's location was also superb. We will definitely come back.

South Beach Hotel is ideally located close to the main shops and restaurants but far enough away to be in a quiet environment. The staff are very professional and friendly. The rooms are modern and very clean. The facilities are great. Each apartment has a kitchen and a well stocked fridge. Fresh pastries and bread are delivered daily in the morning. There is a well kitted out gym and easy to use laundry room. The pool areas are clean and comfortable with a good supply of fresh towels. The pool bar plays cool music and overlooks the main beach area of Camps Bay. Security is taken seriously but not overly intrusive. We could tell our safety was important to the hotel. We would definitely recommend South Beach Hotel.

I loved that they had a garage to park in and the police station is right next to the hotel. 2 blocks to a lot of wonderful Restaurants with a beach view. And right across the street from to tide pools for swimming. I would definitely recommend here for anyone staying in Cape Town or camps bay.
