That main picture was WILDLY inaccurate and needs to be changed. I signed up for one of the CABINS pictured (the ONLY picture on the site) and ended up in a tiny room. Had the staff not been so helpful in getting us into a cabin, my entire vacation would have been ruined. CHANGE THE PICTURE!!!

Worst experience I ever had first of all we get to the room and it is freezing cold. It took over an hour for the room to warm up. They knew we were checking in. Had the door open mind you it’s a cabin so it’s not in a hotel it’s outside so the door was open. No heat on freezing cold whole night the air blow hot then cold right also, we asked for a early check out which would only been $100 refund because literally there was nothing to do in the town no restaurants opening nothing. The whole town was shut down refused to let us out of our reservation we had to them book a hotel four hours somewhere else and pay an extra 300 and something for one night will never recommend this place to anybody their corporate customer service number person was so rude and not helpful at all and was just extremely rude to me and will never stay there again

I liked the look of the property. I liked that it had a pool and large hot tub pool as well. I liked the rooms had heat and we slept pretty warm throughout the night. I didn’t like how dirty the room was. The swimming pool was so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool which to me was concerning.

The cabin we stayed in the mini fridge was a little loud turning on and off but didnt keep me up just a little annoying but got use to it... it was sitting on something low so opening it,had to bend over...not a deal.breaker...put some smoked fish in it and a few sodas and the cooler...this time of.year not many restraunts open...appreciated card for.discount.at a open restraunt and a coupon.for.the breakfast buffet down the street..will book again...

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Cabins at Mackinaw! The staff was a great help, friendly and approachable for all of our questions and needs. The cabins and lodge on the property were in great condition and were very adorable! The only downside was that there seemed to be a lot of cobwebs and dust in some of the rooms. Everything was cleaned very nice, but you can tell the areas they clean well from the areas they barely touch. Overall a very pleasant stay! Thank you to the lovely staff and employees at Cabins at Mackinaw!

Unbelievable stay...unprofessional staff and inadequate advertising. What a waste of hard earned money and never again... was absolutely 💯 unacceptable from the min we tried to get in room that was not ready no appliances was plugged in no light bulbs that worked couldnt fine how to reach front desk on the broken phone with no light impossible to see and bathroom light was on but locked from inside couldnt use restroom until staff found time to come fix it at 11:40 pm but still no light bulbs..staff had to plug in tv so it took along time to connect while we set in the cold room cuz heater was not plugged in. STAFF SENT A MAN TO HELP AND HE WAS PISSED THAT HOUSE KEEPING NEVER PREPPED THE ROOM.

The location and staff were good here, but we wouldn’t stay again. We were in the lodge and not a cabin. It was pretty dated. One of the beds was made with a half sheet for a top sheet. There was a terrible smell from the mini fridge and we tried to cover it with air freshener. The bathroom was moldy and the shower and toilet were very small. The bathroom sink sprayed all over and got our tops wet when we used it. The worst part was the shower abruptly went all hot in the middle of my shower. I was thankful I could jump right out, but scary for children or people who don’t move fast! On the plus side, it was not noisy and the price was very low.
