One night stopover
Our room was a bit dated but honestly it was great for the price (& we were told by the friendly staff that the hotel accommodation is being upgraded soon). The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. We also enjoyed our meal in the bistro.

Stairs to hell,...
The location it is amazing, the room it is shocking, small noise bed, holes on the wall, dirty carpet along the hall,...Better to stay on a, backpackers for that money. Even coffee, was not right, at the bistro. Expensive for what it is. That hotel must be at the same level of the oaks, stamford,...etc...

Just the basics in our room but exactly what we needed. Fantastic price. Hot shower, great food, TV, fridge, kettle, awesome bed. And service was excellent!

2/10 Poor

The rooms are old and disgusting, they look very different to online photo. Currently seeking a full refund as we booked 4 nights. And only stayed one as there was no other accommodation available that night. Staff seemed helpful in processing the refund, not sure if Expedia are going to provide the refund.

All the Staff from Chambermaids,Chefs,Waiters and Management were excellent They could not do enough for you always polite courteous and friendly But unfortunately the accommodation leaves much to be desired The rooms were adequate but the decor, flooring, paintwork shower requires massive refurbishment along with the rest of the building It is basically a 2 star hotel and should be mentioned in your description for people looking to book

Upon arriving to room, it contained a single bed which was not what was advertised. Room was dark, dingy out dated, holes in walls to top it off bed was covered in stains. Hotel Manager was very helpful and arranged other accomodation

Seriously Outdated
The location is great! Check in was ok, then you walk past the bins, up the pigeon poo covered back stairs an into a dingy corridor. You open the door to the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, with a bed, 1 chair, wardrobe and a fridge, it just feels grotty. Aircon in the window so right above your head when you’re on the bed, can’t close the curtain because it is I front of aircon. Bathroom is small and straight outa the 60s. The noise in the room was unbearable due to a machine on the roof right outside the window (apparently it’s the dishwasher) We ended up leaving in the early hours of the morning as pipes were groaning in the walls! Didn’t have a high expectation going in, due to the cheap price, but have to say we were totally underwhelmed!

It was a lovely stay and staff were friendly and prompt. The problem is there were very limited Disability Parking spaces and sometimes you couldn't get into parking area as there were trucks blocking the entrence. Not a very friendly Disability establishment. TOO many stairs and even getting to the rooms more stairs. Disability toilet was very unclean and I couldn't get the door unlocked from the inside. Other than being Disability unfriendly would have been a nice stay.
