Le Mille e Una Roma
Our Italian home away from home! ❤️
Nicolette and husband are wonderful! The apartment is spacious and beautiful. It is surrounded by charming hole in the wall businesses that filled our trip with authentic experiences! The room was more than big enough for the three of us and was super clean and private. The shared bathroom experience was not a problem at all. A breakfast basket was refilled daily with the perfect light weight treats that more than filled our appetites for a day of adventuring. A great little spot close to public transportation and walking distance to the Vatican as well as other shops. I highly recommend it!

Affordable and Accommodating
After we decided to extend our vacation in Rome for an extra 5 days, we were in a crunch to find another place to stay. We found this Bed and Breakfast and were excited by the excellent price. At first we were worried about the location because it seemed far from all the touristy places we had been visiting, but we ended up never feeling inconvenienced by the location. It's a 5 minute walk from the Metro which will take you anywhere you need in Rome. It's also very close to the Vatican. Our host was super kind and accommodating-- I emailed one night because our light burnt out, and she was there within 5 minutes to fix the problem (it was in the evening too so we really appreciated them going out of there way for our comfort). There is a grocery store that is a 2 minute walk away in case you want to buy any forgotten toiletries or snacks. We also found the best gelato place called "Millennium" about a 10 minute walk away towards the Vatican. Our room was clean and light so if you wanted to spend some extra time in the room it's comfortable. There were only 2 downs: 1 was that we thought the breakfast would be prepared daily, and it was essentially just a basket-full of some packaged breads and sweets (although they restocked it every day), and the 2nd was that the place had no open lobby so make sure to have a way to contact them. We were also worried about the shared bathroom, but it was no problem, and it was kept tidy and clean. Overall, we would highly recommend!

A Thousand and One Reasons to Book this Room
This pied a terre, a three minute walk from subway and bus depot, and a ten minute walk from the Vatican Library, has to be the best deal in the city. Families on a budget can stretch out their days in Rome in comfortable, clean room with good AC and a staff that is not obtrusive but helpful. When the power went out at midnight, staff drove out from home and fixed the problem ASAP. (Like many so called bed and breakfast places these days, there is no reception desk. AND while it would 've stretching things to call the basket of prepackaged foods provided each day "breakfast", they could be used as snacks for your day time haunts. This is a minor quibble, considering that your daily savings on rent allow for a splurge on dinner every night.
