Hotel Le Cise is in a wonderful location; our room, across the valley, maybe 250m, [beware the very steep path] was quirky but comfortable and provided the promised 'sea view', looking out south-east at the hotel/restaurant, sea and cliffs. The room was billed as a 'suite', but, not in reality. The bath sides were very high; anybody even slightly infirm, could not use it and there is no shower curtain, so water everywhere. The restaurant's menu is heavily fish and sea-food oriented with only two 'meat' dishes available at the time; fine for one of us, but not the other [Veal knuckle - not tried, and Rotie de Boeuf; tried, but not liked - beef, but not roasted as we know it; alternately tough, fat, stringy, fat, tough, all in a delicious sauce. The fishophile loved both of his [4-course] meals. Terrific wine list, good selection of beer and cider. One very disappointing issue was the overt reluctance and failure to replace used towels - at 240Euro/night NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!
