Nagoya and related destinations

Between ancient temples and futuristic skyscrapers, Nagoya reveals itself as Japan's underappreciated marvel. The reconstructed Nagoya Castle dazzles with golden dolphins atop its roof, while the Toyota Car Museum tells the storey of Japan's industrial might through perfectly polished vintage cars. At Port of Nagoya Aquarium, dolphins perform with such enthusiasm you'd think they were auditioning for something better. LEGOLAND Japan offers brick-built wonders that delight children and secretly impress adults. For a cultural fix, the Nagoya City Art Museum houses treasures in a building that's itself a masterpiece of modernism. Save room for miso-katsu, the local breaded pork cutlet that locals defend with surprising passion.

Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae

Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is located in the heart of Nagoya, called Sakae. If you come by metro, Sakae station has two lines that are connected. If you come by bus, there is a big terminal in Oasis21, which is about 5-7 minutes by foot to the hotel. The venue is modern, clean, well-provided and the staff is very courteous and willing to help as much as possible. My room was very well maintained, clean, with a lot of useful amenities. Highly recommanded hotel if you have business or leisure in Sakae, or if you want to connect with other parts of the City of Nagoya!"

"During my stay, I can see dust everywhere though the hotel is clean. Then the hotel has a policy where they could not clear out the coin laundary washers even if it is done. So there goes your laundary plan if you encounter inconsiderate users that hog the laundary washers. Staff is helpful, breakfast is excellent, location is great."

The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. You'll be alerted first if rooms become available or prices drop, making it easier to secure a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay at a hotel in Nagoya. If you are in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and may also offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a good value.
  4. Consider your location: Staying near key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For more affordable rates, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, which are usually likely to be more affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
