Completely magical! - most incredible place I've ever seen or stayed. The blending of a modern luxury resort + a heritage palace is done expertly, everywhere you look is something beautiful & unique. The decor is impeccable (is "palace minimalist" a thing??); sits atop a hill with 360 deg views of the most stunning countryside. Filled with nooks & crannies, designed to be explored and enjoyed (my only feedback for RAAS would be to have more signage/maps bc I had a hard time navigating around, but it's also the most pleasant place to get lost that I can think of :). I stayed 2 nights, wouldn't have minded staying 3-4. Food was excellent & they were also happy to tailor to any requests. I enjoyed the spa, the salt cave, the poolside, explored the [very] small village (filled with the nicest people), did a short hike with a guide up a hillside, used the gym for my own yoga practice each morning (an open-air gym, w view/breeze that I'll never forget), got a hotel/palace tour (highly recommend doing this), and enjoyed leisurely time in my room. My room was huge (a palace room I believe?) with bedroom, balcony, sitting room, living room area, and enormous bathroom. Service was excellent and all of the staff were very freindly, always smiling -- sometimes I have a hard time in India with staff being too doting/intrusive/overeager which I find uncomfortable & off-putting, but RAAS staff more relaxed and respectful of your space, while still always being avail & offering service.
