The rooms are in a building. They have elevator for 2 people. Front desk nice. They hold luggage if you come early. Now the bad. The area where the hotel is very dirty. Feels very unsafe. Don't stay here if you get scared easily. It's in the hood of Naples.

Wow, where to start. The good parts: The hotel room itself was great - seemingly newly renovated with a balcony. And it was quiet. The challenging parts: Other than the renovated guest rooms, the building is in bad condition with extensive paint peeling in the hallways, and with dirt and dust that hadn’t been cleaned for decades - it was totally gross, to say the least. One has to climb 5 steps to use a rickety elevator with doors, so accessibility could be an issue for many, especially when trying to move luggage. But between using the dirty and paint peeling hallways and using the rickety, elevator, I preferred using the elevator. The safety in the community around the hotel is very questionable. I didn’t like being outside during the day, and did not go out at night unless a taxi was there waiting for me.

Unfortunately I’ve had a bad experience with this lodging (it is not a hotel, but simply one floor of a very old building). The location is bad, it’s close to a train station and very dirty the surroundings (found quite a few homeless people in the area). I’ve had a communication problem with the staff (he spoke Italian to me and I know very little Italian). My one day staying in this place was really stressful for me. I definitely do not recommend it. It is one of my worst stayings in the last ten years (and I am often traveling). Never got an apology from the them.

The hotel rooms are terrific. The staff is very helpful and attentive. You wouldn’t know from looking at the outside of the building that it’s a very nice hotel inside. And the elevator is probably 110 years old. But once you’re inside, it’s fabulous. I guess the bottom line is don’t let the outside deter you.
