Learn more about Valencia
Futuristic curves of the City of Arts and Sciences rise like alien spacecraft landed among medieval streets. Savour authentic paella where it was born, then wander through Central Market's sensory overload of hanging hams and local produce. The UNESCO-listed Falles festival transforms March into a riot of satirical sculptures and fireworks. Mediterranean beaches offer perfect respite after exploring the Gothic silk exchange or climbing the cathedral tower. The old riverbed, cleverly transformed into a sunken park, provides a green artery through urban bustle. For the best horchata, join locals at the tiny tiled cafés where this refreshing tiger nut drink has been served for generations.

Hotel ILUNION Valencia 4
"We want to appreciate the great service provided by the staff at the hotel. Special shoutout to Lili who was at the restaurant. She was super helpful in providing us vegetarian alternatives and was kind enough to even fit in some more options to be made to suit our vegetarian palette. The reception staff was also extremely helpful with super checkin/checkout experience. They were also kind enough to provide us breakfast alternatives on days when we had to leave earlier than the scheduled breakfast time."

Hotel Intelier Malvarrosa Plaza
"We stayed for 8 nights, room was spacious with a king size bed, sofa, desk with chair and plenty of hanging space for clothes and shelves for foldables. Bath is very deep with integrated shower. Hotel itself is lovely and clean and the staff are great, very helpful with any questions or requests. Its only a small walk from the beach and its gorgeous promenade. If you're renting bikes it has a space location in the building to store and lock them up. Rooftop terrace is lovely and a great escape if the beach gets too hot or as we found it can get windy and sand gets blown everywhere. Overall experience was thoroughly enjoyable and would highly recommend. A shout out to all the lovely staff at the reception area and especially to Josh with his unmatched energy to make sure everything was satisfactory whenever he met us at breakfast."
Only YOU Hotel Valencia

Barcelo Valencia Hotel
"We loved the location, and the hotel was overall great - the breakfast is fantastic! The only complaint was the elevators; there are only three, and only two are working at any given time. One is specifically for freight. With that said, I would definitey stay there again."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Valencia
- Book for the cheapest times: For a budget-friendly trip, consider visiting Valencia in January, February or November, when hotel prices may drop and offer lower prices. For a comprehensive exploration of its renowned landmarks, museums, art galleries, historical sites, and cultural hotspots, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This period provides great value for money, allowing you to enjoy a variety of attractions including shopping, dining, and romantic experiences along with the city's iconic monuments and beaches.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com suggests that travellers to Valencia may discover appealing hotel deals by checking DealsOpens in a new window and Last-Minute Deals . You’re more likely to see reduced rates on accommodations near your travel date. Enabling email alerts or push notifications could also keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions. Moreover, the Smart Shopping comparison tool available via the app helps you compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re kept updated if rooms become available or prices drop, so you can potentially book a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can vary depending on factors such as a hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates may help you save when staying at a hotel in Valencia. For those interested in distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised experience and sometimes better value. When you book via Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we might suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Valencia's superb public transport system, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a little further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
