Xiamen seems like a very nice city to visit with plenty to do. Getting to Gulangyu Island proved troublesome because I was taken to the ferry terminal for locals only. Three days here would be a sufficient stopover.

Service was top notch from a tall hot butler welcoming us at the door and helping with bags, to the ever friendly receptionists, to amazing house keeping staff who kept our rooms clean every day, to breakfast room staff… everything was perfect! This stay is nothing short of amazing and every staff went above and beyond in all areas. The rooms were another level.. clean, tastefully furnished and thoughtfully replenished day by day… they took care of my family, including my aged grandma, so well the entire stay. No request is ever too much or too hard.
It will definitely be my top choice hotel for future stays and I can’t recommend it enough "
