The Z Hotel Bath

10/10 Excellent
"It is not a big room; however, everything was clean, the bed was soft and comfy, such a nice and cute little place to stay to explore around Bath, and at the same time, budget-friendly. The water pressure was strong enough, and the bathroom was provided with essentials like clean towels, shampoo, and body wash. There is a cafe/bar on the ground floor; I think they also provide breakfast. I didn't get to try it, but it looks nice. Overall a very good accommodation!"

Bailbrook House

Bailbrook House

8/10 Good
"Parking Good. Woken by neighbours having early shower in the morning (room 111). Moved to Jane Austen room. much nicer. However, The door handle had to be lifted befor the cardkey would then allow the door to be opened. Door handle needs some attention. The TV at the end of the bath would not work due to 'No signal'. the other two TVs in the room were ok. As with all hotel rooms there was never enough suger/sweetener to allow for making two or three cups of tea/coffee each, so had to request more from reception. The quick dial button on the room phone dialed a number which then went to the unobtainable tone. Lastly, you put a very nice picture of the Cloisters area, on this email and other promotions, that used to be used for breakfast. Unfortunately it is now no longer in use."

"The location is fantastic. The room was very tiny, but it was known from the moment I made the booking. Nice breakfast area. The lodging in Bath is expensive, and parking a car is another expense. So this tiny room was affordable, in walking distance from everything. With the incredible summer weather, I had a great stay."

  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in Bath. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised service and may sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you secure a more appealing rate.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, though thanks to Bath's excellent public transport links, you may find a more affordable independent hotel further out that is still well-connected.
