"We went expecting a downgraded depressing hotel after reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised, the owner a lovely helpful man greeted us on our arrival and explained the parking situation straight away, the hotel breakfast was very nice, and staff very friendly.The hotel itself doesn't do evening dinner but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, the hill upto the hotel if you're walking will certainly keep you fit.Tea and coffee along with iron and ironing board in all the rooms and the perfect view of the bay."

"Nice outlook from sea facing room, a little small for two adults and a dog. Glad it had a fan as room was quite hot at night. Room was a little dusty such as mirrors, lights. Though bed very clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant staff lovely and friendly. Breakfast was very well presented and lots to choose from, would highly recommend for the price. Easy parking on street directly outside of the hotel."
