We had a great stay! Jake and David went above and beyond helping us with our luggage situation after our taxi cancelled on us at the last minute. Nathan was always there with a friendly smile and was so helpful throughout our stay. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and we really appreciated the great service. We would definitely recommend staying here!

8/10 Very good

The breakfast was good and the staff there were very friendly. The bedroom was well-maintained and has a bunch of useful amenities (like soap and water) and the hotel was in a very good locution.

Old fashioned seaside hospitality Our sea glimpse room was small as was the bathroom so would go for a better room next time. Staff helpful and polite.

6/10 Good

Hotel is ok and staff very nice. However the restaurant is over priced with average food. I had a halloumi meal with a tiny piece of halloumi, frozen fries and a tiny basic salad...£20. I have had better happy meals, zero effort put in. Thankfully when I complained the restaurant manager removed it from the bill, first time I have ever complained about a meal.

On arrival, we found out about the rooftop suites so changed for the rest of our stay - fabulous suite with mega bathroom and balcony looking directly over the sea. The weather was kind to us so we were able to use the balcony every day. Even if the weather hadn’t been good it’s still great to look out to see and all across the promenade. Without exception, every member of staff we encountered was smiley, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, with the sausage and bacon done to a lovely colour unlike some of the insipid specimens we see elsewhere. My husband was very complimentary about his kipper on our last morning and I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on 2 days - again, very good. Small point, but they had the best auto-toaster we’ve come across - just the right setting for perfect toast. On our next visit to Llandudno we will definitely use the St George again. Thanks to everybody there.

Lovely old Victorian hotel - retains a lot of old world charm, but modernised for today. Attractive to an older clientele, many of whom were returners. Food was excellent, waiting staff were great and over all we had a good holiday.
