Banksy's street art appears on unexpected corners while harbourside cranes have transformed into luxury apartments and museums. The SS Great Britain, once the world's largest ship, now offers fascinating tours of Victorian engineering. Wander St Nicholas Market for artisanal treats before catching cutting-edge performances at the Old Vic Theatre. The colourful houses of Clifton provide perfect backdrops for Instagram moments. Bristol Aquarium and We The Curious offer family-friendly diversions when rain inevitably appears. Clayton Hotel Bristol City
"."
Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport
"Room was delightfully air conditioned, disappointing that shower did not have non slip mat. I had to leave at 4am for early flight, not tome to have breakfast or discuss shower issue"
Leonardo Hotel Bristol City
"Nice facility"
Majestic Hotels Bristol
"Great location right opposite the Hippodrome ideal for us as that’s where we were going.Bathroom looked newly decorated although shower worked well but could do with updating. The room itself was spotlessly clean but probably needs redecorating soon as it wasn’t to the same standard as the bathroom also little tip for anyone staying here make sure you have a plug in lead for charging your phone as there are no usb sockets which they could do with. One thing I found disappointing was although checkin isn’t until 3pm and we had arrived early we were told our room was ready which was great but they said it’s £10 per hour so from 1pm when we arrived until 3pm they wanted an extra £20 so we declined and said we will just park our car for now and come back at 3pm.So for this reason I have dropped one star. However I would use this hotel again if I needed to."
Village Hotel Bristol
"Great stay at The Village. My boyfriend is a regular guest for business but we stayed for a weekend. Check in was simple, we opted for a club room which was compact but had everything you could need. Beds are super comfortable, coffee machine always a bonus. We used the pool twice throughout our stay which was easy to access. First mornings breakfast wasn’t as good as second but still good. Would stay again"
DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North
"Stayed in a basic room. Definitely not 4 star, both the room and bathroom had definitly seen better days and were very well used. However for a night's sleep to break a long journey was fine. Pool, sauna and steam room were very well received andcdon enjoyed the gym. Breakfast was also lovely though no fresh rolls."
The Bristol Hotel
"Great location, as long as you ask for a quiet room. Staff were really helpful and the restaurant was great"
Aztec Hotel & Spa
"All was great thank you"
Moxy Bristol
"Great vibe"

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could potentially help you find a more affordable stay in a hotel in Bristol. For those in search of distinctive experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you discover a more favourable option.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but with Bristol's outstanding public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less congested neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money available. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
