Poor 2,0
Noisy uninhabitable rip off avoid.
Poor hotel certainly not worth the £200 price tag. Tried to charge us for the room at a higher price on arrival even though we had paid, had a receipt, and even showed the bank statement. There was no apology, they just didn't care. It wasn't suitable for relaxing at all. To start the hotel was hosting a wedding which was so loud our room (we paid for a decent double) was shoved to the outer edges of the hotel. Access to which is though back corridors and a service elevator barely big enough for two and no disabled access. The room itself was tiny, if we were fat or even not skinny we would have really struggled to get in the bed. With about 40cm either side of the bed before the wall it felt like a sardine can. There was a stain on the bed sheet. The air conditioner was dripping with water all night. The windows rattled like fireworks outside the windows making it near impossile to sleep. The location of the hotel was pretty awful on the main clubbing and bar street which is noisy!!! I wish they had notified us that there was a wedding as we would have found another hotel. They notified us about parking problems in advance so I don't see how they couldn't have let us know about the wedding and that we would be in a rabbit hutch. Room service is no existent beyone 10pm, despite having to walk through the open restaurant and round the back of a wedding. 3 choices of sandwich is not room service. Maid then let herself in without knocking before an hour before checkout.

Don’t go for the spa!
Room was fine, not really worth the big price tag. The spa however was absolutely horrible. Unclean and I think we stayed in there for all of 5 minutes before leaving.

Very good 8,0
Great room but small letdowns
We stayed in a suite for a couple of days after our wedding, including our wedding night. Our room was fantastic with a huge bed and swanky bathroom. However, the hotel stated that their constant endeavour was to exceed our expectations and the service did not. For the price point I expect a good room which has been cleaned etc. However, I arrived literally in my wedding dress and the service we received was exactly the same as normal guests. For example we were not particularly congratulated and were asked if we wanted to pay for breakfast. Little things like this, contrasted starkly with a recent experience at a similarly priced hotel for a birthday present were we felt spoilt. It was a very nice hotel but I would not particularly return. Also the wifi is patchy.

Perfectly located relaxing treat for the weekend
Stayed just one night for a weekend break, and had a lovely time. Great location for shops and to walk down to Wapping Wharf etc. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and use of the spa obviously a huge bonus. There was a very large wedding party on the day we stayed, and I’m happy to say that we weren’t disturbed at all! Breakfast service was really pleasant and attentive, as was the concierge and the spa. Overall the whole experience was great, with only two minor points to note: the pool in the spa is only 10x3m, which is fine when you’re on your own- but when others are there it feels a little cramped. The other? Poached eggs slightly overdone at breakfast. Other than that, perfection through and through! Will definitely be back.

Beautiful Bristol boutique hotel
We wanted somewhere to stay in Bristol for my daughters graduation. The location is perfect within easy reach of the dockside and the abundance of restaurants.
