our first room was a box and the bathroom was so tiny but we complained and were upgraded to a really nice room with a wonderful bath outside, shower outside too! our room looked out onto lake biwa you really need to be into authentic Japanese food for the dinners. the staff treats you like royalty they have a shuttle to the train station which is awesome

Amazing! The property offered a shuttle ride from the station. We were greeted with a cup of tea. We were also taken to our room and with assistance and given a thorough tour of the space and the services that the hotel provided. The property has a beautiful view of the lake. The room was spacious for our group. Highly recommend the meals offered for dinner and breakfast. The onsen was also clean and spacious.

Beautiful hotel, clean room and comfortable. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good, even has grill seafood by your own on the dining table. Free shuttle bus to hotel from train station and only a few minutes journey. Will come back again and try the in room onset next time.
