aja Warnemuende
"Room was clean and had all amenities. The balcony on floor 10 was a nice touch as well. The staff were very friendly. Close to beaches. About 20 minute walk from station - but people could take bus. Breakfast was great and a huge space with outdoor seating as well. Facilities for family were good - swimming pools etc. as solo traveller I made use of the spa. Super clean and well fitted out"
Gästehaus Lütten Klein
"This hostel had shared showers and toilets and was located in an industrial looking building. We had to drive 10 minutes from the hotel to find a parking space. On the positive side everything was very clean and our room had a spacious kitchen with fridge. All in all it was very good value for the money."
Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Duene
"Lovely hotel, would have liked to stay longer"
Scanhotels Stadthafen - Neueröffnung
"Super Lage. Große Außenanlagen, sehr gut zum Entspannen. Modern und freundlich."
Hotel Am Hopfenmarkt
"Lovely stay, amazingly helpful staff"
B&B Hotel Rostock-Hafen
"The B&B Hotel was a great budget-friendly, centrally-located hotel. All parts of the city were easily accessible, the hotel staff was friendly and spoke English, and everything was very clean. It was also right across the street from a Rossmann and a few grocery stores. I only gave 4 stars because the bed was very uncomfortable; the mattress was hard and the pillows were basically nonexistent because they were so flat. Otherwise, this is a great hotel for a few nights."
Arthotel ANA Amber
"All good, we are using the hotel regularly for our stays in Rostock"
pentahotel Rostock
"Very basic but clean and nice"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Rostock
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Rostock is from January to March, when hotel prices are generally lower. For an enriching experience that encompasses the city's prominent landmarks, cultural sites, and historical attractions, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. During this time, you can explore notable churches, the bustling port, and significant monuments, as well as enjoy activities such as rowing and sailing. Don't miss the chance to visit the magnificent cathedral, unwind at local bars, attend a soccer match, or even take a trip to the zoo—ensuring that your visit offers great value for money.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Explore enticing hotel deals in Rostock by visiting DealsOpens in a new window on Hotels.com, where you may discover great savings on hotels. For those seeking last-minute getaways, check the Last-Minute Deals section to see discounted rates that could be available close to your travel date. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see attractive offers when rooms become available or prices drop. Stay alert with email or push notifications to be among the first to know about flash sales and special promotions.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates may help you save on your stay in a Rostock hotel. For those seeking unique accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially secure a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre typically tend to be more expensive; however, with Rostock’s superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further afield that remains well-connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
