Great hotel and fabulous location steps from the waterfront. Breakfast was great and included in the cafe across the street--nice bohemian vibe at the cafe.

Great location
Very well placed for Hermanus centre, but away from the beaches. Lovely rooms and excellent suites. Very useful to combine suite plus room for a family stay. Hotel does not have a restaurant, but it's surrounded by good food places. Breakfast across the road is outstanding.

A good hotel for a family with small children
Our stay in Quarters Hermanus was perfectly pleasant and as a hotel to go with a baby it was very convenient. We stayed in a suite room which had a separate living room and kitchen which were a good size but the open plan bathroom was a little bit of a problem when the baby went to bed! We had to use the lobby toilet after she'd gone to sleep...but that's a minor issue. A couple of small complaints: 1) our bedroom window was right over the extractor fan of the restaurant below so there was a slightly irritating humming sound in our room all day, until the restaurant closed at 11. The baby seemed to quite like it in any case... 2) the housekeeping service didn't replace shampoo and shower gel so we kept running out 3) the floors weren't thoroughly cleaned so crumbs etc were often left when we came back in the evening All very minor points but all in all a very nice stay for a small family

Hermanus - great accommodation
Only stayed one night - the accommodation is in a fantastic location a stones throw from the "promenade". Room was large and very well presented - the kitchen and fridge provided would have been useful if stay was longer. Parking underneath so safe (and free!!).

Great location
I chose Quarters Hermanus for its location and I was not disappointed. The suite had a great view and was walking distance from all the major restaurants and shops. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful – we really enjoyed our stay.

This is the best place to be in Hermanus, elegance, grace, private and the eateries around the area, including proximity to the seafront makes this an amazing place. The area is buzzing with life and people, the staff are well trained and the GM runs a superb service establishment and should be commended.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
We stayed in a suite. The suite consisted of a comfortable sitting room (sofa plus chairs) which incorporated a kitchen with a dining room table. The bed room and bathroom were conjoined but with a separate loo. Bifold sliding doors opened onto a patio, which had a partial sea view and a good view of Hermanus itself. The room was immaculately clean and was in excellent condition. Quarters hotel is the place to stay in Hermanus it is in the heart of the town overlooking the old harbour. Everything is within easy walking distance of the hotel.

My stay at the Quarters Hermanus was quite nice and a great value. The condition and location of the hotel are great, just steps away from the beach, cafes and shopping. Excellent and friendly service. The very weak internet which can only be accessed with vouchers was a let down though.

Great location, right by the water and restaurants
Fantastic location puts you a 50m walk from the footpath for strolling and viewing whales. Also situated right near top rated restaurants including The Burgundy and The Barefoot Chef. Breakfast at the deli next door (Oscars) is included and good quality, and parking is free. The hotel itself looked recently remodeled, although our air conditioner didn't work and the adjustable shower did not stay put, making it hard to shower.

Breathtaking Views & Friendly Service
We had a wonderful stay. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, even going as far as arranging for the whales frolicking in the bay! LOL We have a son & daughter in the hotel industry and tend to be rather critical at times but we could not fault either the staff or hotel! It is the perfect destination. For once in my life I found the bed and pillow to be more comfortable than mine at home!

Superby finished, spacious, wonderful location!
We had a short but exceptional stay at the Quarters. We are family of 5, so always tough to find spacious room. We loved it here, because they gave us a "Suite" with a common yet private hallway with a "Standard" room and it worked out perfectly. WE basically ended up with 2 complete bedrooms and bathrooms plus a beautiful family and kitchen area. The balconies overlook this trendy and beautiful seaside town. Laying in our bed, we had a view through a big window of gorgeous sunrise over the mountains and Walker Bay. The furnishings and quality of everything is simply top class. The breakfast at Oscars was our best during the 2 week stay in S. Africa. The staff are very good, parking is right underground. Great restaurants withing walking distance. Wish we had stayed longer!!

Nice central hotel overlooking the sea
My friend and I had a really nice stay at Quarters Hermanus, where we stayed 1 night. The room was nice and modern and we really enjoyed the pool area where you can swim in the pool while looking at the sea. The location of the hotel is also brilliant, next to the coastal path and also right in the centre so everything in Hermanus is within easy walking distance. The breakfast is served at a little cafe opposite the hotel, which has an excellent choice and really fresh ingrediences. Also the parking at the hotel is great in a big parking lot underneath the building - so safe and secure.

A delightful stay--we'd come back again
This hotel was a great price-quality value for us. We had a living/dining area with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. Very nicely appointed. The bed and pillows were so very comfortable, an experience that's been all too rare for us. We loved having breakfast (included) at the quaint cafe across the street. You can't beat the location for a quick walk to the whale watching area. The only "quirky" thing about the hotel was that they give you wifi access based on a limited data use, rather than time-based, which we'd never experienced. I hope they will consider unlimited access or a nominal fixed charge.

We were delighted with the room, the view, the breakfast at Oskar's, and being able to leave our car in the parking lot during the following day, after checkout. Excellent service all round. If only it had been warm enough for us to use the pools!

Great hotel in great location
The hotel is situated right in the centre of Hermanus near the sea. We were even able to see whales from the hotel terrace as well. The rooms are very modern and comfortable and overall we had a fantastic stay.
