Oaxaca on a budget
This is a good, clean and friendly small spot geared for more casual, thrift travelers, including Mexican nationals. The location is good, and all was fine, except for the noise level of other guests with very loud tv's, radio, etc. until 11:00 pm with no monitoring by the staff. Small rooms, but economical, clean and decently comfortable for a short stay.

We were welcomed in right away when arriving, even getting help with our bags. Everyone who works here is kind and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable (great mattress) and the A/C worked wonderfully. We’d definitely stay again, thanks so much for your hospitality!

The staff was really friendly and helpful! We struggle with the hot water and that there was a little amount of water coming out from the shower but the staff was kind and moved us to another room while they fix the problem. They helped us order food too. I will stay there again!

Great stay although there was a weird smell coming out of the drains in the bathroom. They fixed it but it came back, it seems to be an issue around Oaxaca, not particularly of the hotel. The water flow from the shower is very weak, if you have to wash your hair, that may take you a while. Other than that, comfortable stay.

This suite looks exactly like the photos, but without a window (except a tiny one in the bathroom for air flow). It is clean and tidy, super convenient as a location (max 10 minutes walk to the public square). Another thing that might concern safety is there's a door and a gate (not really shown in the photos) for each room, the room door is not lockable, only the gate is. But you can easily put a hand through the gate to open the door, so if you are concerned with privacy and safety, this is not recommended. There's another main gate at the property, which is open during the day and close at night. The room is not sound-proof, you can easily hear staff cleaning at 11pm with the lights on if you stay on the ground floor, or people talking in the area just outside your room. The window blind does not offer complete privacy to my liking as you can see gaps from certain angle from the outside, which is the common area. I would not call them a hotel, as the amenities are limited and the communal area is just a space with free water and some cups and chairs. All in all, the staff are kind and nice, they offer recommendations and can arrange tours for you. However, they don't speak english as mentioned on the page description. The water pressure is weak in the shower, like the others said but it is common in Mexico.

Property wasn't finished and i feel prices were too height for the conditions of the hotel I couldn't lock the door from inside The main door locking mechanism wasn't working and the security door lock can only be lock from outside . If the room locked from outside i was trap and in case of emergency or earthquake it was going to be impossible to exit . Drainage at shower was poor since water was going to opposite side of drainage . Large sliding doors did not have screen to prevent mosquitos to get inside the room

Excelente estancia
La estancia fue de una sola noche pero fue muy amena. Aunque llegué desde antes, me dejaron pagar mi habitación desde las 8 am y aunque el check-in era a las 2pm me dieron facilidades para dejar mi equipaje. Los cuartos son bonitos y modernos, la calle es tranquila y la sentí segura. Definitivamente regresaré en futuras visitas a Oaxaca.

La habitación es muy limpia y algunos muebles cómodos y funcionales, las camas, escritorio y silla de trabajo muy bien. El baño un desastre, limpio pero no existe espacio en el lavabo para colocar lo necesario, no hay amenidades , el jabón de manos líquido diluido, no hay ganchos para colgar toallas ni toalleros, el tapete es una jerga, la regadera altísima y ya tapada, el rollo de papel higiénico sin despachador… en fin, muy caro para lo que ofrece
