Relaxing location
The lovely lady I spoke to when I checked in was very welcoming, warm and friendly. The accomodation was comfortable, clean and had the amenities that we needed. The location is amazing and I slept so well with the sound of the waves lapping on the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Location ideal for whale whatching & dolphin excursions. Querky museum, watch plenty of fur seals from roadside on road into Kaikoura. Check in great, owner very chatty & welcoming. Lovely Irish pub Donegal on outskirts, lovely food. Supermarket close by.

A Genuinely Lovely Motel.
Absolutely perfect stay. From the friendly and helpful staff to the spick and span unit. Excellent bathroom and very comfortable beds. We loved our brief stay here. The units are fully equipped for meal prep and the New World Supermarket is 200m away. Town is a really pleasant 1.5km walk. The property has direct access to the beach and coastal walking track, the train line is adjacent for train spotting. On site laundry for a very reasonable price. Picnic tables tables for alfresco dining. Don’t change a thing !

We had a great stay here! The gent ar the front counter was really helpful. The room was spotless and really comfortable. It was a cold night but the heaters kept us warm. Great private access to the beach, keep in mind you will hve to cross rail tracks.

The room was nice, nothing super fancy but the kitchenette had all you would need. The location is nice, you can't see the ocean but it is a very short walk to the beach (across the seemingly rarely used train tracks). It is 1-2 km from the center of town. Overall, very good value!
