Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Aethrio Sunset Village. The property is very charming and we loved our quirky apartment as well. It was a quiet oasis in the heart of Oia. It was nice to have a pool and a lot of patio space to retreat from the crowds at times. There was also outdoor seating for breakfast. It is located close to the bus stop with easy signage to find your way and very convenient to the top sights in beautiful Oia. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The only thing that we would have liked improved was that our mattress was too firm for our liking.

Amazing place to stay

The hotel was very responsive and helpful in that they organized airport pickup/dropoff, recommended great tours, and we were able to still use the facility even after check out while we waited for our flight. The breakfast was delicious and the menu slightly changed every day. The hotel is at a great location and less than 5 minute walk to the blue domes.

The property is very pretty and clean. Most importantly it is absolutely centrally located. You just step out and you are in the middle of Oia. The main tourist area is your backyard. Hotel Aethrio is the perfect hotel in Santorini. Great rooms, friendly staff and an ideal location that is close to the island’s best views, attractions and restaurants. Based in the heart of Oia, it is just a 5 minute walk to the famous blue dome viewing point and is surrounded by independent eateries and local retailers. The staff are extremely helpful and provide recommendations, local knowledge and assistance. This includes allowing you to use the facilities before and after you check-in to aid with flight times. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a private kitchen. Plus, there is a great pool, daily breakfast and two balconies that provide beautiful sunset views so you don’t need to compete with the crowds at local beauty spots. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Santorini.

Aethrio was wonderful! Our room was apartment style, just near the pool. It was so clean and comfortable. There are 3 exits from the hotel which proved useful based on where we were walking to- one of them leads right onto the main area which was very convenient. The pool was lovely, though a bit deep in the shallow end. The views were stunning and the whole place was clean. I very highly recommend!

We’ve just returned from a fabulous week here. The hotel complex is idyllic, all freshly whitewashed, spotless and charming. The pool was a real bonus too. It sits right in the centre of Oia on top of all the lovely restaurants and shops. We stayed in a triple apartment. The beds were very comfortable but ours was only a double and pushed up to the wall. This could not be helped due to the small size of the upstairs bedroom, and still very charming, but something to bear in mind. The breakfasts were very good and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to stay in Oia, this hotel can not be beaten and I would highly recommend it.
