Beautiful staff and location is perfect. Sad to hear it’s being sold to a foreigner as currently locally owned. Please pay the staff more as they do a wonderful job!

The location was for us perfect.. The staff are doing the best they can with what they have. The complex needs money spent the bring it all back up to a standard that justifies the cost of a stay. Food and drinks where way to expensive. Overall there are far better options available. With Expedia we were never given the option of all inclusive (food and drinks) which was a big disappointment !!! The staff were great and more than friendly but did not make up for cost.9

I felt everything was too expensive at the hotel for what it offered. It is a three star hotel with average amenities. Also whilst tge staff was friendly, there was a lack of structure- on arrival we were not explained anything about the hotel or its inclusions amenities ir activities- we had to ask, rely on other guests to tell us or find a notice board somewhere. We enjoyed our time overall but i think the resort amenities and inclusions need updating and prices need to be more in line with what is being offered.

Second trip to Fiji Hideaway and enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed our first trip last year. Staff are simply awesome. The staff make the resort what it is. Breakfast is great, good variety. Where possible, the staff are extremely accommodating. The staff work with what they have & they do their best every day. Good activities each day if you want to get involved. Otherwise it’s a nice place to just chill out & relax. Lagoon is amazing and safe for kids. Long stretch of beach so it doesn’t feel crowded. The resort requires an enormous amount of work to bring it back to its hey day and to upgrade all the facilities. It’s tired and very worn. More investment needs to be made for the resort to survive. All rooms except the Deluxe villas need new furniture & beds and new bathroom fit outs. Linen also needs to be replaced. The menu hasn’t changed for a long time and we understand management are looking at doing that soon however, the chefs need training. The food is overcooked, lacks flavour and simply lacks appeal. The kids free lunch & dinner is way below standards and frankly, expectations. It is “free” but you can’t feed your kids that every day, twice a day for 10 days. Activities gear needs replacing urgently. It’s hard for the activities staff to offer a quality program to guests when the gear they have to work with is stuffed. We love the location, the staff and the potential. We will visit again.

Our beach front cottage was just perfect for our needs, just a few steps from the beach. There was very good snorkelling and ideal for our young grandaughter to play in the sand. The views are spectacular, our accommodation very comfortable. The staff are very efficient, friendly and attentive. A bonus was the early meals for children. We hope to return on our next visit to Fiji and would certainly this resort. Thank you for our stay.

The Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa is like a home away from home. Upon our second time staying here we were treated like family and welcomed back with open arms. The staff at the Hideaway are unlike anywhere you have stayed before and make your trip fun and exciting while friendships are made. The location and beach are breathtaking and stepping out of our ocean view room was like looking at a postcard. I would highly recommend everyone who travels to Fiji to stay here and experience the 'real' Fiji and its people.

Fiji Hideaway is a lovely resort but the beachfront has no chaises or umbrellas. Everything is arranged around the pool, which is noisy and crowded. The food was tasty but many people got food poisoning during our stay.
